Dawn-Nathan Jones

Leader of South African women, CEO of Europcar for 14 years now.
She has been an inspiration for all women in South Africa without a doubt. Dawn started her career of at Imperial Car Rentals in Durban in 1980. She worked extremely hard to prove that she was capable of doing more then she was assigned to. After being promoted year after year she finally came to Johannesburg in 1984 where she became National Sales Manager . Continuously climbing up the ladder she finally took over as founder of the Car Rental in 1999. Her greatest achievement was being awarded with the glamours Women of the World Award .

She is a member of the Business Women's Association in which she helps empower women to be ambitious. Shark Tank is an amazing show which shows how dawn shares her ideas on starting a new business and how to excel in that process. Ladies, we need to be in tune with our emotions in order to believe that we can be a leader. Leaders always challenge themselves even if taking a risk is one of them. Women in entrepreneurship need to stay connected with the business of today in order to develop, grow and succeed.

Dawn's key advice is to always change even when your successful.

"Take a breath, step back and refocus. This doesn’t mean change everything, but learn to pause and evaluate where you are, and what needs to be changed or adjusted. "

From everything about dawn, I have gotten to understand that you as an individual have to focus on what your're good at, then step back and evaluate your decisions and doings, learn from that and just be more fabulous next time. Be passionate and authentic, be you!!
