Where do I start with this incredible lady, there is honestly so much she has done to contribute to the world. Oprah Winfrey has left a lasting impression on the entire world of young ladies especially. She was not apart of a rich family or even middle class, she came for a highly troubled neighborhood. 

She was super intelligent in school, being promoted multiple times. In high school she found out what really interested her, drama and public speaking. Her first break through ever was when she was spotted to read on radio. Hosting a show called,"People are Talking" she immediately knew that this was what she wanted to do in life. Eventually she named the show, The Oprah Winfrey Show" for all people around the world. 

Oprah helped broaden not only women's point of view, but helped to realize that ever single human being is important. The Oprah Winfrey show went on to win many Day Time Emmy Awards and even seven prestigious awards. She will always be remembered for the innovative ideas she produced and especially being the first female African  American to host a television show.

She has opened a school in South Africa called, Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
Her  aim was to provide a nurturing environment for girls who come from disadvantage backgrounds. They emphasize on the theme of leadership which consist of ideals such as humanity, compassion and services for others. She is truly an inspiration for women to follow their dreams no matter what!
